Accounts Receivable Specialist

Overview

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist for one of our US based clients. The Accounts Receivable Specialist keeps the system running smoothly by handling managing cash influx, and collecting payment from clients. Processing, Tracking and Recording payments with accuracy and efficiency are just one of the fundamental tasks of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily posting, application, and deposit of high-volume payments to appropriate customer accounts.
Export list of ACHs deposited in the bank account to post per remittances received via email.
Download lockbox documents of checks deposited in the bank account to post per included remittances.
Process credit card payments received via single-use agreement emails and autopay accounts.
Research payment discrepancies to determine correct posting to accounts, request missing remittances from customers or forward unapplied payments to the assigned AR Representative to lease payments.
Assist with calls and voicemails to Account Receivable.
Provide requested payment details during the annual audit.

Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience posting high-volume payments preferred.
Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and adherence to procedures.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently to manage volume and accurate posting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work cohesively with other employees.
Good customer service skills, proper phone, and email etiquette, and a positive can-do attitude.
Computer skills including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Experience with business management software is useful.
